This product is made from the best cuts of a 100% Iberico pig, a Spanish native breed. This pig doubles its weight during the Montanera season (October to February) by eating acorns and grass. In addition to the foods, they primarily eat acorns. A pig must consume 12 kg of acorns to gain one kilo.

For three months prior to slaughter, Iberico pigs were fed only fallen acorns known as Bellota. The resulting meat is swirled with high levels of flavorful natural fats, which have earned this pig international acclaim. This makes it the world's finest and most prestigious pig. The end result is a delicious loin with great marbling that has been seasoned with a mild pimenton (Paprika) and presented beautifully in a skin pack. The slices are very simple to separate, present on a plate, and wow all Iberico fans.
